So I told Josh that he needed to figure it out before I threw something. After some quick google research, Josh found out that there were only a handful of things that could be making the dryer not work: was it getting warm? YES. was the drum spinning? YES. is the ventilation tube unobstructed? hmmm.
Josh then pulled our dryer out from the wall in the storage closet, and hopped back in there to find that the otherwise lightweight tube was rather heavy.
Because a bird had made a nest in it!!
Which was preventing the moisture to leave the dryer through the tube!

The circle in the middle-right of the picture is where the end of the tube vents to the outside of the storage closet, where lovely birdies decide to crawl inside and make nests!
Once he dumped out all of the dirt, weeds, and leaves the dryer was working better than ever!
Thank you handyman Josh! Now our clothes are drying at warp speed!

Now it's time to catch up on all of the laundry!

oh my goodness! maybe that's what's wrong with ours!!!
Glad Josh & you figured it out...wouldn't want you to turn in to some psycho superwoman and start tossing dryers around! :)
O.M.G.
Hahahah! That's hysterical and awful at the same time. You're so much like me I would've DEF had to have taken a picture of that.
:)
Whoa that's crazy. Darn birds. That's also a funny picture of your handyman. John has had to be our handyman too. For us it's usually the washer that shuts down on us.
I ABSOLUTELY love this photo of Josh!!!!
