Don't get me wrong...

...I freaking LOVE my Jetta. It has been the best car ever! She is super sturdy, a true champ, and of course REALLY cute!!!!
But lately my lovely little car child has put me in the poor house!

In the last month:
New Windshield -$260
Body Work Deductible - $500
75K Maintenance - $150
Diagnostic for Electrical Issue - $130
New Door Latch (from diagnostic test) - $400
Labor for Door Latch - $100

Now I know the body damage and the windshield wasn't her fault - BUT really Jetta? Did your door latch have to be faulty?? And I know I replaced the passenger door latch, but I decided to wait on replacing the driver's door latch because I wasn't about to spend another $500! Can you please please please just stop having issues. I take extra good care of you, so just do me a favor and try to stay healthy and inexpensive, please?

Otherwise Mama is going to need to upgrade to something a little bit nicer...

She sounds a little high maintenance. :) Hopefully, she has had her fill of attention for awhile.

You've got a high maintenance car. ;) But woops...that's a lot of money you spent on her. :( Hope this was it for the next two years or so.
Oh, I so want a car again. ;)
have a great day girl.

I can totally relate to your Jetta issues mine just hit 100,000 miles and I am terrified of taking it in to get checked....good luck!!

Ugh sounds awful! My car did the same thing to me last year though. It had a fan belt break and it had some sort of random code come up that was messing the engine up. I think it was about 1,000 to fix it all. Yuck.
