I've been a very bad blogger, but you love me anyways :)

So I have been stashing my awards away for quite some time now, hiding them in a deep dark draft post. But alas I finally have enough time to properly pass on all of the following awards and partake in telling you 32,048,320,954 bajillion more things that you don't know about me! haha

I'm so thankful for all of these awards, and I apologize for taking so long to do this post! Bad Bad Bad Blogger, I know!

So let's get started!

The first award is the Beautiful Blogger Award! This was bestowed upon me by Steph over at Watching Airplanes! Her blog is a crack up, if you aren't a current read of hers you should become one! She has a pretty crazy neighbor!

Award!

Yay! Yesterday Sonja over at For the Love of Stilettos gave me the Sugar Doll Award! If you haven't stopped by her blog you are really missing out! She takes amazing pictures and has the cutest shoes on the planet!

-Even though I absolutely hate working retail, my resume is overwhelmingly full of retail and retail management positions - not something I am overly proud of.
-My Brother and I have the same amount of letters in our first names - Clayton (7) and Kaitlin (7)
-I love Gnocchi. It is my favorite food of all time, and of course my Mom makes the best gnocchi!
-Ruben "Hurricane" Carter was my commencement speaker at my college graduation, the movie The Hurricane with Denzel Washington was made about him
-I never walk around the house barefoot, you will always find me wearing slippers
-When I have a headache the ONLY medicine I take is kids Motrin, the liquid kind, what can I say, it works for me! haha
-This year I made my first large appliance purchase and bought a front loading washer and dryer - best choice ever! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! :)
-I'm a huge coupon hound. Before I leave the house I always try to find coupons online first, I love saving money on things I am going to buy no matter what.
-I'm a very creative person, and I love to do crafts, decorate, and scrapbook. Sadly I just don't have the time right now with my work schedule.
-I do not like that it gets dark so early now, daylight savings time, you are evil!

1. I love the DVR. Without it I would never be able to watch tv because of my crazy and ever changing work schedule. Therefor DVR allows me to be a normal human and catch up on my shows like The Hills and ANTM.

3. My Car. I love the Jetta, it is my baby and has seen me through so many adventures. It is a wonderful car, and so cute to look at :)
4. Flannel Sheets. I usually have flannel on my bed year round because I love it so much. There is nothing better than getting into flannel sheets at the end of a long day.
5. Making the Bed. I MUST have the bed made before I can start my day. I hate when the bed isn't made, I can't pick out an outfit or anything if it isn't made - weird I know.

Blog Awards!!

Yay for blog awards! Yesterday my great bloggy friend Ivy over at Little Woman, Little Home gave me two blog awards!!

The first one is, "It's a Major Award!"

The Rules for this award are to Name 10 things you love and pass it on! I'd like to follow in Ivy's footsteps and write 10 things I love about Christmas!

1. Making WAY too many Christmas Cookies with my Mom :) We always have cookies until like April haha
2. Decorating the Christmas Tree. This is probably my FAVORITE part about Christmas time, I love driving all over town to the different tree lots to pick out a tree, and then coming home to decorate it!
3. Christmas Music! I love it so much I listen to it all year round haha (but I know I'm not the only one, ahem... Erin and Jennifer....)
4. Visiting with Family, this is the one time of the year where everyone somehow manages to get together and I just love it
5. The local soft rock station turns into a 24/7 Christmas Music Station, I know -AMAZING!
6. On Christmas Morning we open our stockings and presents, even our dogs have stockings haha
7. The smell of the Christmas Tree
8. Going out to look at Christmas lights on houses, and how everywhere you go there is Christmas cheer!
9. Shopping for Presents! I hate the crowds, but I love picking out gifts for people and wrapping them up
10. Christmas Movies! Charlie Brown's Christmas and A Christmas Story are a few of my favorites

Happy Monday! Today is my day off so I'm heading to the park on a picnic lunch with my friend Allie to try out my new picnic backpack from Jon and Steph!!!

Blog Award!!

This morning I woke up to a fun surprise: an award from Steph over at The Adventures Of Jon and Steph!!! I'm so excited!! Thanks Steph :)

The Honest Scrap Award

The rules are:

1. List 10 honest things about yourself that your
blogging friends do not know about you.

1. I only paint my toenails one color, it's bright pink, and I've been using the same "Strawberry Electric" shade since high school. The only time I've ever changed it up was for my good friends wedding, I was a bridesmaid and had to paint them red. Don't worry, as soon as I got home they were switched back.

2. I was originally triplets in my Mom's Belly (the other 2 didn't make it). We joke that I killed the other two (Because I am really destructive and I like breaking things haha), plus there is only room for one daddy's girl not three, and only enough money in his wallet to buy one Jetta - and we all know I don't like to share hahah

3. I'm allergic to pretty much everything that grows out of Mother Earth, which is somewhat ironic considering my Dad owns his own Landscaping Company.

4. I don't drink, I've never been drunk EVER. And I never tried any sort of drugs while in high school or college. I'm just a square, but I don't care!

5. I like Pee Wee Herman, a lot. I have 3 seasons of his show on DVD. I loved his show as a kid, and I still think it's hilarious.

6. I don't eat fruits or veggies (only salad and corn). I'm a texture person, and I hate the texture of fruits and veggies in my mouth, yuck!!!

7. I can never finish a Hot Dog. I always eat almost all of it, and then by the end I start realizing what it is, and I just can't finish it. So I leave a little piece of hot dog on my plate every time.

8. I'm a VERY clean person. Perhaps on the verge of OCD. I have places for everything, routines for cleaning, and I am a huge germ-freak. I have special dish towels for drying dishes, special ones for drying your hands, and special ones for wiping down the counter. One towel can't be used for all three tasks, that would be gross.

9. While on my high school swim team I won the "Most Enthusiastic Team Member" Award. I'm a really outgoing and enthusiastic person, wether you are trying to swim your fastest time and need some encouragement, or if you need advice, I LOVE to talk, and would be happy to listen.

10. My mouth is tiny. When I go to the dentist to have impressions made they always have to use the child mold because the teen and adult ones don't fit in my mouth. Needless to say, my retainers are the size of a half dollar if not smaller.
