4th of July Weekend!

Thursday afternoon Josh and I headed back home to my parents house for the weekend!

When we got there Mom was already cooking dinner: Chicken Parmesan from scratch, YUM! Once we unpacked all of my stuff from the car went for a swim in the pool with my dad and then ate dinner. We decided to call it an early night, because on Friday we were going to go to the Fair!!

Friday morning we all got ready and once my parents were free from work we headed straight to the fair! As soon as we got there my dad and Kevin HAD to have corn dogs. My dad thought it would be funny to buy Kevin the biggest corn dog known to man haha
After the giant corndogs we went into the building that displays High School Student's Art Work, and we were excited to see that Clay's Photo had won First Place!
We of course also saw some baby chicks and baby ducks :)
And Kevin pretended he was a Sheep
There were also 5 day old piglets! So cute!!
Throughout the day we all ate so much food, but I mean it's the fair which only happens once a year, so it doesn't really count right?! haha

Yummmm Corndogs!!
And Icees!
We also watched the Alaskan Pig races, it was so funny!
They were so quick!
Then after the piggies, it was time for this little piggy to have an ice cream :)
I had to take a picture of the ride that use to be at MJ's Neverland Ranch
Who doesn't love the tacky Fair Vendors?? Well this guy was hilarious, so my dad and I made my mom take a picture with him and she was so embarrassed hahaha
Then before we left I HAD to ride the swings, they are my favorite ride!
After the fair we came home and took naps because we were soo pooped, then after that Josh and I went out to Mexican food for dinner with my parents! Yuuum :)

On Saturday my parents were having a BBQ with a bunch of family friends and good food.

My dad decked the house out in patriotic gear!

We are lucky enough to be able to watch the fireworks from our driveway, so the boys got the bright idea to bring the old couch from our game room out to the driveway. They of course used the forklift, making our 4th of July officially redneck.
All of the "kids" watched the fireworks on the drive way while the parents watched from up in the turret. Yes I know I am deathly pale.
Yay! Fireworks!!

Then we stayed up late playing ping pong in the game room, haha so nerdy but SO fun!

On Sunday Josh and I ate lunch with my family and then headed back home so we could run our errands and relax a bit before the weekend was officially over. I hope you had as fun of a weekend as I did!

Now I guess I should go to the gym and work off some of that fair food haha!
