I hate...

... logging in to my online bank account.
I've said it before and I will say it again, every time I log in it is like a mini-anxiety attack. Even though I have a good idea of how much money is in each of my accounts, somehow I am still a little surprised every time I login.

And I HATE using my credit card, and I hate how it tries to trick me in to thinking I don't owe as much as I really do. POO on you credit card, too bad I will never allow you to make me pay interest because I pay you off every month, even if you use mean tactics like posting things to my account really slow. I've caught on to your games and I will not let you win! (But you can have the satisfaction of knowing you freak me out daily when I know I have a balance on you.)

ughh.

How many credit cards do you have? How many do you actually use? I have 3, and I only use one of them - but I feel like even using one is too much.

leave your credit cards at home!! that's what i do. i have three credit cards, and one debit card. i leave all four at home. that way i don't use them. when i know though that i have to buy certain things, i take my debit card with me and still leave the credit cards behind. i won't get tempted. granted, there were time i was mad at myself for not bringing at least one card with me but hey i saved money!!! and yes, i pay the card(s) off every month right on time so i won't have to pay interested. :) that is when i use my card(s). ;) cash is still my best friend. :) lol

credit cards are evil! matt and i each have one now and we are trying to consolidate ours into one. i def say leave them at home. dont spend it if you dont have it! i say that - and i dont even live by that. haha. much easier to say than to actually do.

good luck.

what bank do you use?

I have one. Well one real one. I have two store ones. The store ones I use and then pay off before I leave the store so they will send me coupons.

The real one is a State Farm credit card. I use it for larger purchases because I get "State Farm Dollars."

Credit cards are a good thing if you are responsible with them. And it sounds like you are.

I used to pay off my credit card every.single.month. but then when we started using it to buy tickets to travel home and didn't have the actual money to back the purchase, we haven't been able to it off entirely. It really sucks because I hate getting charged the fees but at the same time I'm really thankful that it has a decent balance that is enough to get us home and back in case we ever don't have the money stashed away. In the end, I think its a love/hate relationship!

Good for you for being so intelligent in the use of credit cards. You’re learning early and that is so important! It is easy to get into trouble and not worth it. I unfortunately haven’t been so lucky and am still paying off stuff from years ago. It’s a hard lesson and one I never want to learn again. The interest rates are criminal!

I hate to admit it but I have a TON of credit cards. Thankfully I only use two of them and only one on a somewhat regular basis. I'm also the same way when I check my account. I always cringe and wait to see the number that's in there. Ekk!
